GLSHF Board Member Gabe Clements Appointed to CEO of Lee's Summit Medical Center

Greater Lee's Summit Healthcare Foundation is thrilled to announce that our board member Gabe Clements has been appointed as the new CEO of Lee's Summit Medical Center, a part of HCA Midwest Health, Kansas City's largest healthcare provider!

Starting his journey with HCA Healthcare back in 2001 as a physical therapist, Clements has showcased exceptional leadership and dedication throughout his career. From his role as director of rehabilitation services at Lee's Summit Medical Center to his recent tenure as COO, he has continually spearheaded initiatives to enhance patient care and foster a positive work environment.

Under Clements' guidance, Lee's Summit Medical Center has flourished, earning accolades such as recently being named among Modern Healthcare's Best Places to Work in Healthcare. His commitment to growth and excellence is evident in the expansion of surgical services, the ICU's increased capacity, and the upcoming opening of a new ambulatory surgery center.

As he steps into his new role, we have no doubt that Clements will continue to lead with integrity, compassion, and dedication.
