Molly Melton Awarded GLSHF Scholarship
Congratulations, Molly Melton! Molly is one of thirteen awardees of the health-focused scholarships from the Greater Lee's Summit Healthcare Foundation in 2019. Her award was for $5,000.
Molly says, "My career goal is to become a Registered Dietitian. I have always been extremely passionate about the power of food and the effect that if can have on ones body. I truly do believe that what we consume has the power to change our mental, emotional, and physical health. This is why I would love to go into sports dietetics and help athletes achieve their athletic potential. This scholarship will help me to graduate with a Masters degree and leave college debt free, ready to take on my dream job."
Since 2003, GLSHF has granted more than $1.4 million in scholarships or grants to a multitude of awardees designed to impact the health and well-being of the greater Lee’s Summit community.
