Cameron Haas Awarded GLSHF Scholarship
Congratulations, Cameron Haas! Cameron is one of thirteen awardees of the health-focused scholarships from the Greater Lee's Summit Healthcare Foundation in 2019. His award was for $5,000.
Cameron says, "I'm Camron Haas, I’ll be a sophomore at UMKC and staring pharmacy school this fall. So far, I have been a part of the pre-pharmacy society, Alpha Phi Omega which is a community service fraternity welcome to all college students, and apart of the early assurance pharmacy program at UMKC. I work at a Walgreens pharmacy near school and I also am just starting an internship at North Kansas City Hospital where I work full time over breaks and part time during the school year. Your scholarship will help me be able to stay active in all of these wonderful programs and activities while being able to have time to study and make sure that I am also able to focus on the studies as much as I will need. I want to thank everyone who contributed to this scholarship and the people to deemed me worth to accept it."
Since 2003, GLSHF has granted more than $1.4 million in scholarships or grants to a multitude of awardees designed to impact the health and well-being of the greater Lee’s Summit community.
