Alissa Parrett Awarded GLSHF Scholarship

Greater Lee's Summit Healthcare Foundation is celebrating the 2017 scholarship awards given to 11 local health-focused students, who included Alissa Parrett. Alissa is an awardee of a $5,000 GLSHF scholarship.
Alissa says: "Thank you Greater Lee's Summit Healthcare Foundation! I am incredibly honored to be receiving this scholarship. I feel very privileged to receive such touching community support. These funds will assist me through my final academic year of my Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree. This next year, I foresee myself implementing my doctoral project and utilizing my talents and coursework to contribute to the welfare of our community as a nurse practitioner student and an eventual provider. I can't thank you enough for investing in me. Thank you!"
